L’intermedio in tasca is a multifunctional book with various goals:

• Preparing students to the written part of the various examinations of this level
• Providing information on the Italian culture and life
• Presenting a series of revision tests of the morphosyntactic forms
• Putting students in direct contact with the living language through simple authentic material

The book is divided into three parts:

1. Reading comprehension (20 texts accompanied by multiple choice exercises)

2. Linguistic competence (20 texts accompanied by cloze-type exercises)

3. Writing (20 themes)

All texts are extracts taken from the Press and literature. Apart from their rich linguistic content, they also offer to students stimuli to deepen their knowledge into the Italian culture and life (tradition, literature, art, music, television, sports, geography, and so forward).
