Tests for obtaining the long-term permit of stay. Elementary level (A2)
Description
The volume Preparazione al Test per immigrati aims at helping immigrants to pass the test that proves the knowledge of the Italian language, which is now compulsory (decree of the 4th June 2010) in order to obtain the long-term permit of stay of the EC, and that can be taken either at CTPs (Permanent Local Centers) or at CPIAs (Provincial Center for Adults’ Education).
The book, which comes with an audio CD, offers 10 Tests of knowledge of the Italian language. These tests were designed following the instructions given by the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, by the Syllabus developed by the Certification Authorities specifically for this kind of examination and by the Vademecum of the Ministry of Education. The tests were given inside the CTPs and calibrated on the specific needs of immigrants.
Each test is composed of three sections:
- Oral comprehension, two listening tests (multiple choice, matching, true/false)
- Written comprehension, two reading texts (multiple choice, matching, true/false)
- Written interaction, a test (writing a brief text or completing a form) always based on the knowledge, the contexts and the immediate needs of the candidate.
The volume comes with a complete introduction with all the information regarding the test for immigrants, the examination and the calculation of the grade. At the end of the volume you can find the answers to each test.
