La nuova Prova orale 1 is the first collection of a modern and updated conversation manual, which aims at providing all the necessary support to students at a A1-B1 level, to help improve their oral production and mediation skills, and to help them prepare for the speaking tests of the main Italian language certification exams.
The book is organized in 4 sections:
- 35 thematic units that deal with the typical topics of the three language levels, but also many other topics that allow students to talk about most aspects of modern life, thanks to pictures, questions, and infographics which encourage discussion and debate. The units are in order of difficulty;
- The texts that student will find from unit 20 onwards, are articles, emails, messages or advertisements that students must summarize and comment;
- A section with eight types of ludic activities to review the vocabulary and the most important topics of the thematic units;
- An Italian-Italian glossary at the end of the volume and a multilingual online glossary, thanks to which students can consult the meaning of more complex words.
Furthermore, a code inside the book gives students access to a Supplement on the
i-d-e-e.it platform, which includes the translation of the vocabulary in 5 languages (English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish) and examples of the speaking tests of the main certifications of Italian language.
Teachers cannot use this code. The book will be automatically activated in the teacher's account when at least two students have:
- Activated in their account the code they find in the paper book or
- Purchased and activated the e-book code.
La nuova Prova orale 1 can be used from the first lessons of level A1 up to level B1. Each unit provides 30 to 60 minutes of conversation depending on the level.
