Features
The new Edilingua series, designed together with Smack in Milan, aims to offer the world of Italian culture abroad, through the most important and well-known personages. The series is aimed at students at level B1-B2 of the Common European Framework who study the Italian language as L2/LS, and includes the following books:
-
Arte
-
Dante
-
Letteratura
-
Cinema
-
Moda e design.
We chose to do this monographic book on Dante because – even though 700 years have passed since his death – his work is still significantly relevant today. This is an innovative book that allows you to learn about Dante Alighieri and his Comedy, without having to actually read the poem itself!
This graphic novel, created ad hoc by established designers, presents the student with highlights of Dante's life, linked to his work: 3 illustrated episodes and an interview with Dante, completed by activities created in collaboration with the Università per Stranieri in Siena: the perfect way to give B1+ students a greater understanding of the father of Italian language and literature.
The other volumes in the series are dedicated to four Italian personages who have distinguished themselves in their field and who are also known abroad. A short biography is presented within the relevant historical framework for each personage, followed by the main aspects of their mindset or one of their works, always using clear and simple language.
The book contains the answers to the activities and can also be used in self-learning.
In the top right corner you can browse and download the Specimen, which contains the index, the Specimen, and a few pages of the book.
